Drift Physics on a Prepared Surface

The Ice Bumper Car 5BC-07 behaves differently from anything on a gripped floor. Reduced friction means the car keeps moving after the driver turns, so a bump becomes a slide and a slide becomes a drift. Riders spend the session learning how much steering is enough — and how much is too much.

Each car seats two, runs a 500W drive at 48V and carries up to 150kg. At 180*180*115cm it is compact enough for an indoor floor, and the FRP and steel body takes the knocks of a busy session with CE certification behind it.

Ice Cars Versus Grid Cars

A grid car is pushed and stops almost where it is hit. An ice car is nudged and keeps travelling. That single difference changes how a session feels: less head-on impact, more chasing, more near-misses and more laughing when someone spins out.

Maintenance also splits. A grid car needs a clean, sound floor grid and pickup system. An ice-style car needs a well-kept surface and healthy drives — there is no grid to inspect, no contact strips to clean, and no electrical work in the floor.

Two-Seat Riding for Pairs

Two seats change who rides. A parent takes a child, a teenager takes a friend, and two adults who would never queue alone will happily take a car together. Sessions fill faster and the ride reads as a social attraction rather than a solo one.

Load capacity is 150kg across the pair, which covers most adult-adult combinations comfortably. Suitable age starts at 3 years with supervision, so families can ride together on the same car.

Surface Care and Cleaning

The surface is the ride. Keep it clean, dry and free of grit, and check it before every session the way you would check a grid for debris.

No refrigeration is involved, so there is no ice plant, no compressor and no overnight freezing cycle. Running costs stay close to those of a normal indoor attraction.

Where Ice Arenas Fit Best

Family entertainment centers, indoor parks and covered commercial venues get the most from this ride. The drifting motion photographs well, which matters more than operators expect: guests post the spin-out clips, and the arena gets seen before people arrive.
