The New Roller Coaster 5RC-10 answers a simple brief: give a growing park a coaster that looks current. The bodywork is FRP over a steel chassis, the station is compact, and the profile is drawn so that a family can ride together without anyone being caught out by a sudden drop. Its track runs some 300 m and sits on a covered area of roughly 50 by 25 m, which leaves useful ground around it for landscaping.

Colour is chosen with you. A bright scheme suits a seaside park, while muted tones sit better beside mature trees.

Power Supply and Control Basics

The drive draws 15 KW, so the electrical work is modest compared with a launch coaster. A dedicated supply, a lockable control cabinet and an emergency stop at the operator position are the essentials. The control panel reports lift speed, brake status and door interlocks, and it logs faults so a maintenance team can trace an intermittent problem instead of guessing.

The cabinet is normally sited beside the station, so the operator can watch the platform and the panel at the same time. Where the local supply is unstable, a voltage stabiliser is worth adding to the package at order stage.

Junior Riders and Entry Screening

Riders are screened at the gate against the height marks that ship with the ride. Boards are supplied in your own language on request. Operators who want to open the coaster to a wider age band sometimes run it alongside a compact junior coaster and send younger children there, keeping the taller guests on the main circuit.

Colour, Graphics and Laser Printing

Laser printing puts a logo or a repeating graphic directly onto the car bodies and station panels. It survives cleaning and sunlight better than a vinyl wrap, and it means a sponsor mark or a park emblem can be part of the ride from day one rather than stuck on afterwards. Graphic files are confirmed before production begins, and we send a proof for approval.

Because the artwork is printed rather than applied, it is also easier to refresh later. If the park rebrands, a replacement set of panels can be produced from the original files without a new design round.

Seasonal Operation and Wet Weather

Where a park closes for winter, the coaster is best left with the train parked in the station, the track washed down and the control cabinet isolated. Coastal sites need a rinse cycle more often than inland ones. In the operating season, light rain is not a problem; heavy rain, ice and high wind are, and the manual states where each limit falls.
