Foldable Structure and Transport

The Fordable Bumper Car 5PTR-03 is built around a folding arena. Instead of a permanent floor and a fixed boundary, the structure breaks down into transportable sections that travel with the cars. The attraction arrives, opens, trades, closes and moves on.

The complete set covers roughly 16 by 11.8 metres at a height of 4.23 metres and draws 5.5KW. The cars are FRP over steel and carry CE certification, with custom colors and a customized logo available across the fleet.

Setting Up on an Event Site

Setup runs in a fixed order, and following it saves hours. Mark the boundary first, then place the arena sections, then the cars, then a final safety walk before the gate opens.

A crew that has done it a few times can move from parked truck to running ride in a morning. That is the difference between an event operator who can accept a two-day booking and one who cannot.

Arena Footprint and Site Conditions

The footprint drives everything. A flat, level surface is required, and the site needs vehicle access close enough that sections do not have to be carried any distance.

Confirm ground conditions before quoting a site. Grass after rain, gravel and uneven paving all cause trouble, and it is cheaper to decline a pitch than to arrive and find the arena will not sit true. Branding for Touring Operators

A logo on the cars and the arena walls turns the ride into a moving advertisement. Touring fleets are seen by a different crowd every weekend, so the branding earns its cost twice: once in sponsor value and once in recognition when the ride returns to a town the following year.

Custom colors and a customized logo are available, and the FRP shells hold graphics well. Operators running a sponsor deal usually order spare panel graphics so a damaged shell can be swapped without repainting.

Packing Down After the Season

End-of-season packing needs a dry day and a checklist. Clean the shells before they are wrapped, not after, or dust becomes an abrasion problem in transit. Photograph the loaded sections so next season's reload follows the same arrangement.

Store the cars and panels under cover. The steel frame handles weather, but the FRP finish lasts noticeably longer when it is not sitting outdoors through a wet winter.

Wear Points on a Traveling Arena

An arena that is assembled and dismantled dozens of times a year wears in different places from a fixed installation. Bolts, connectors, section edges and the car bumpers take repeated handling, so they get inspected at every teardown rather than once a season.

Keep a travelling spares kit: fasteners, spare bumpers, wheels, belts and a small electrical kit. A car that can be repaired on site stays in revenue; one that needs a part shipped in does not. Event operators who run mixed fleets often add battery bumper cars for events to the same trailer.
