Sun Theme Design: Why the Smile Sells the Ride

A wheel that looks friendly before it moves does part of the marketing for you. The Sun Ferris Wheel 5MFW-03 works on that principle: a warm sun motif, rounded cabin shells and bright colour that reads clearly from the far side of a park. The same styling runs through the range up to the giant 88m landmark class, so the look can follow a site as it grows.

The theme is moulded into the product rather than painted on afterwards, so cabin shells, hub and rim share the same sun geometry.

Cabin Layout: Eight Gondolas Around a 3.5m Wheel

Eight cabins ride a 3.5m wheel face on a structure 7m tall, giving twenty-four seats per cycle. Boarding stays simple: one attendant can see every gondola at once, yet a family of four still boards together.

Cabins are moulded in FRP over a steel frame, a combination that holds colour, resists chipping at the edges and wipes down quickly between cycles. For tighter lanes, a five-cabin mini wheel covers similar ground in less space, while operators who outgrow this size step up to a 20m wheel with twelve cabins.

Site and Foundation: Setting a 12m by 12m Wheel

Plan for the 12m by 12m covered area, then add the loading apron and queue lane outside it. Ground should be level, drained and clear of buried services before the base is cast. Foundation drawings come with the order, so your contractor can price the civil works from real dimensions rather than assumptions.

Drive and Rotation: 4KW Turning at Ten Minutes a Revolution

A 4KW drive turns the wheel once every ten minutes - slow enough for nervous first-time riders, quick enough that the queue keeps shuffling forward. Guests board at the base and step off close to where they started, which keeps the platform orderly at peak times.

The motor load is light, so the ride suits venues with modest power infrastructure and running cost stays low for a paid attraction.

Finishing and Branding: Colour, Logo, Laser Printing

Colour and logo are customized to match your venue, with graphics applied by laser printing for a finish that survives weather and cleaning. A logo on the hub turns the wheel into signage for the park itself.

Units ship in export packing with the fibreglass wrapped for transport, and spare parts plus technical support follow delivery. Minimum order is one set.
