In the Park Atrium Where the Big Octopus Becomes the Focal Point

Some rides sell tickets; this one sells the photo. The Big Octopus Ride 5TR-15 stands 5.5m tall across a 15m diameter cover area, with eight arms of cabins turning around a central column. Placed in an atrium, a plaza or the junction of two walkways, it gives visitors a landmark to meet at and gives your park map a centre. Most operators point their main entrance signage straight at it. If you already run a sliding dragon roller coaster nearby, the octopus breaks up the long linear view.

On a Big Octopus Load of Thirty Riders

Capacity is 30P spread over 15 cabins, roughly two riders each. That number is what changes your queue maths. On a Saturday a 30-rider load clears a family group in one cycle instead of three, so the line keeps moving and fewer people give up and walk off. A large load also shortens the window in which a queue blocks the walkway behind the ride.

Beside the Fifteen Octopus Cabins While the Platform Clears

Loading a ring of cabins is a two-person job done well and a one-person job done badly. With 15 cabins the attendants work one side of the platform as the ride indexes around. Restraints are checked before the gate closes, not after the ride starts, which keeps the platform clear. Decide the barrier layout before the machine lands, because fencing defines the loading rhythm more than the drive does.

Around a Big Octopus Sweep of Fifteen Metres

The cover area is a 15m diameter circle, so plan a clear ring around the column with no planters, bins or sign posts inside it. On grass, a paved pad is the safer base. On a hard plaza, check that the surface is level before installation, and put the service gate on the side furthest from your main entrance so maintenance does not cut across guest traffic.

At the Big Octopus When Zone Traffic Peaks

Peak hour is where a large-capacity machine pays for itself. Because 30 riders board at once, staff can run the octopus as the release valve for the whole zone: when a small kids ride backs up, send families here instead. Custom colours and panelling let you theme the ride to a season or a sponsor, and the FRP panels are the parts that carry the graphics.

Under the Big Octopus Body: FRP, Steel and a 25KW Drive

Panels are FRP over a steel structure, driven by a 25KW motor. The unit ships as an export package with a CE certificate, and installation is supported with professional pictures and videos or by sending our staff to site. Minimum order is 1 set.
